Our TY class of 2020/21started a fundraising and awareness campaign for Breast Cancer Ireland in support of Ms. Hassett in October.

We set out to “Walk with Breed” on her journeys to cancer treatment in Dublin. 32 journeys cover over 7,000km. We have walked in total 10,836km. We will walk with you all the way and beyond Ms.Hassett with kilometres to spare! A total of €14,500 was raised.

On 15th November Ms. Hassett and Ms. Cushion spoke to Annemarie Kelly of Midlands 103 about the fundraiser and the amazing efforts of the TY’s in creating awareness in the school and the wider community to date.

They are walking 20km each in support of our cause and pledging funds for Breast Cancer Ireland. Donations can be given to the TY’s in school. Keep an eye on #Miles4MsH for updates!
